Panoramic Photography, My Latest Passion

More panoramic photos, made like the others with the Olympus C3000Z and Panorama Factory software.

This is a panorama of historic Terminal A at National Airport in Washington DC, shot in early August of 2001.

These pictures are from the FitzGerald Marine Life Refuge, which is located 7 miles north of Half Moon Bay on the California coast south of San Francisco. It's a small beach with some striking rocks. One afternoon I arrived there after work to discover that it was low tide and the fog was thick and thickening. I made these two pans that day.

The picture below prints out at 6"X48".

The cliffs at FitzGerald are also pretty cool. In the first pan, I love how the swinging camera viewpoint distorts the reality of what the cliff is like.

Here are a couple of sunsets. The first one is shot from Skyline Road just south of Hwy 92 in the San Fran Bay area. This is from August 2001, late in the day.

These two were shot in late August 2001, overlooking Crystal Springs Reservoir just off I-280 near San Mateo CA. The actual light was darker than this looks, the long exposure brought out the colors, as well as a bit of noise that shows up as the colored speckles in the image.

This one isn't really a sunset, although it was shot just after sundown. This was taken from the scenic overlook off Canada Rd just south of Hwy 92, just a few miles south of the 2 sunsets above.

A defunct drive-in movie theatre in Burlingame CA.

This is the inside of the American Legion Hall in Tea SD, which is a small town just outside of Sioux Falls.

This is behind the AM Legion Hall in Tea. I have no idea why this scene appealed to me, probably the old playground equipment that takes me back to my childhood. The colors of the equipment were quite stunning that hot day in July 2001.

I hope you like my panoramas! If you like any of these enough to put up in your home, I'd be flattered and happy to sell you a copy. Email me for further information.
